As it was mentioned above, fingertips grow back by themselves naturally when cut down approximately between an 1/8th of an inch to half an inch. Anything beyond that is lost.

New Zune 80 all of the way. I've never been one for brand allegiance. However, knowing that owning an ipod gives me a mark of approval from the most outspoken group of fanboys and all the smug attitude associated with it, I will gladly take the zune. I know there are good apple fanboys and bad zune fanboys (I hate the word fanboy fyi) but at the end of the day, I don't care what you are only if what you are consists of some sense of rationality... ...which I can't say I've seen much of.

I ought to check this out. I have the Scientific Atlanta explorer 8300 HD DVR. It's alright. I have no complaints outside of its minor laggy performance and of course the gui sucks. But so far It has worked like advertised. I want to see if the upgrade is worth it.

the problem I have with flying cars is that their purpose is kind of blurred. Is it supposed to be a car that transforms into a plane or a plane that transforms into a car? I know it sounds a bit ridiculous to ask, but I find that there isn't a balance between the two. It's always so one sided.

People want a stable, luxurious car with sport handling. I want to fly. So give me a goddamn Lexus with a couple of warp nacelles strapped on and stfu!

I'm against DRM to the fullest. However, if companies insist on using it or not, I believe that the music format should provide inspiration to create features in the hardware.

For example, we lived in a perfect, DRM free world, I'm 110% positive that the first gen Zune would have uncrippled wifi sharing. In fact, I'm pretty sure some other company would have thought of it first.

It seems as if music companies are dictating hardware features. This move by Universal doesn't mean anything as far as I'm concerned. They're still the crooks that they have always been. At least this time around 5 dollars for all you can eat doesn't seem half bad, however, knowing them, there has to be some kind of catch somewhere.

Meh, I'll just send the video feed through my receiver's upconverter, and watch my video with it's relative glory.

It wont be perfect but at least it's something. To me, the style and capabilities of the zune far outweigh this minor inconvenience. And no, I don't have horrible taste for liking the zune's style lol.
